News: BSCB Young Cell Biologist of the Year
2000
We would like to congratulate Matthew Howard, a PhD student in Clare
Isackes lab in the Department of Biology at Imperial College
London, who was awarded BSCB Young Cell Biologist of the Year 2000
for the poster he presented at this years Spring meeting in
Warwick. He will now have an opportunity to present his poster ENDO180,
a Novel Endocytic Receptor with a Role in ECM Remodelling at
this years ASCB Meeting in sans Francisco. We look forward to
hearing about his time at the meeting in a future BSCB Newsletter.
A runner-up prize of a years subscription to Journal of
Cell Science donated by the Company of Cell Biologists, was awarded
to Fanni Gergely.
We are also trying to contact past winners of the Young Cell Biologist
poster prize - so if there are any of you out there who are reading
